How We Work

After You Approve The Quote,
Here’s What Happens Next.

From approval to doorstep — handled end to end.

Every order runs through four specialist teams — structural design, print, finishing, and dispatch — so your packaging keeps moving without bottlenecks, delays, or guesswork.

  • A dedicated team at every single stage
  • Live status updates from start to finish
  • Clear timelines, delivered on schedule
01

Finalize your design

Sizes, materials, finishes, and artwork are locked in. You review the proof carefully and approve when every detail matches your brief.

02

Print & production

Your job moves to print, cutting, lamination, and finishing. Our production team monitors color, registration, and structural accuracy.

03

QC, packed & sealed

Finished boxes are checked against the approved sample, counted, and securely packed to protect edges and print during transit.

04

Track & receive

Dispatch shares tracking details so your team can plan filling and launch dates. Your packaging arrives press-ready and production-ready.

Labels vs Stickers: What Is the Difference?

People use the words interchangeably, and both are pressure-sensitive: a printed face material, an adhesive and a release liner. The difference is mostly how they are used and supplied.

Labels Stickers
Main job Identify and inform: product name, ingredients, barcode, directions Promote and decorate: logos, giveaways, packaging seals, merch
Usually supplied On rolls or sheets, easy to apply by hand or machine Individually die cut, kiss cut on sheets, or in packs
Typical materials Paper, BOPP, clear film, kraft, foil Thicker vinyl, holographic, glitter, specialty films
Where they go Jars, bottles, boxes, pouches, candles, shipping cartons Laptops, water bottles, bumpers, windows, mailers

Whatever you call them, custom labels and stickers made for your exact use will stick better, last longer and look more professional than generic stock labels.

From custom stickers for giveaways to high-volume roll labels for packing lines, the right format saves time and money:

  • Roll labels: the most efficient format for product packaging, fast to apply by hand or with a label applicator. See custom sticker rolls.
  • Die cut stickers: cut through the backing to the exact outline of your design for a clean, premium shape. See custom die cut stickers.
  • Kiss cut stickers and sheets: cut through the sticker only, so several designs sit on one easy-peel backing. See kiss cut stickers and custom sticker sheets.
  • Sticker packs: bundles of designs for merch, events and subscription boxes. See custom sticker packs.
  • Decals and vinyl lettering: transfer-style graphics for windows, walls, vehicles and signs. See custom decals.

Label Materials Compared

The face material decides how a label looks, feels and survives. Choose by where the product lives, not just by price.

Material Look & feel Best for Water & oil resistance
White paper (matte or gloss) Classic, printable, economical Dry goods, boxes, shipping and office labels Low unless laminated
Kraft paper Natural, rustic, handmade Coffee, bakery, soap, candles, eco brands Low, keep dry
White BOPP Smooth, bright, durable film Bottles, jars, cosmetics, chilled foods High
Clear BOPP “No-label” look on glass and PET Beverages, jars, candles, premium bottles High
Vinyl Thick, flexible, tough Laptop, bumper and outdoor stickers High
Foil and metallic Gold, silver or brushed metal shine Luxury products, seals, wine and spirits Medium to high
Holographic and prismatic Rainbow, eye-catching effect Cosmetics, merch, giveaways High

Adhesives: Permanent, Removable, Freezer-Grade and High-Tack

The adhesive is the part of a label no one sees, and the most common reason labels fail. Match it to the surface and the environment:

  • Permanent: the standard for product packaging. Bonds firmly to glass, plastic and cardboard. See permanent stickers.
  • Removable: peels cleanly without residue, ideal for retail price labels, promotions and laptop stickers. See removable stickers.
  • Freezer-grade: designed to grip on cold, frosty containers for frozen foods and ice cream.
  • High-tack: extra aggressive grip for textured, curved or low-energy surfaces like some plastics and corrugated board. See high-tack stickers.
  • Low-tack and static cling: light hold for temporary use on glass and smooth surfaces. See static cling stickers.

Tip: apply labels to clean, dry surfaces at room temperature whenever possible. Condensation and dust are the biggest enemies of adhesion, even with a strong adhesive. If your product goes in the fridge or freezer, test a sample on your real container first.

Waterproof, Weatherproof and Outdoor Stickers

For bathrooms, coolers, kitchens and outdoor use, choose a synthetic material such as BOPP or vinyl plus a protective laminate. Lamination adds a clear layer that resists scratches, moisture and fading from sunlight. Laminated vinyl stickers are designed for outdoor use on water bottles, cars and equipment; how long they last outside depends on sun exposure and weather. See waterproof stickers and weatherproof stickers.

Finishes and Special Effects

  • Matte laminate: soft, modern and glare-free, easy to read under store lights.
  • Gloss laminate: vivid color and shine that makes artwork pop.
  • Foil stamping: gold, silver or colored foil on logos and borders.
  • Embossing: raised texture for premium wine, spirits and gift labels. See embossed stickers.
  • Glitter, glow-in-the-dark, reflective and lenticular effects for merch, safety and promotions.

Shapes and Sizes

We cut any shape: circles and ovals for jar lids and seals, squares and rectangles for bottles and boxes, rounded corners for a softer look, or a fully custom outline that follows your logo. Popular choices include circle stickers, oval stickers, rectangle labels and custom shape stickers.

How to size a product label: measure the flat, label-able area of your container, not the whole container. On curved bottles and jars, leave space above and below the curve and keep the label slightly narrower than the flat panel so it does not wrinkle. Share your container size and we will suggest dimensions on your proof.

Roll Label Specifications for Machine Application

If you use a label applicator, a few details make the difference between smooth runs and jams:

  • Core size: usually 1 inch for hand dispensers and 3 inches for most automatic applicators.
  • Unwind direction: which edge of the label comes off the roll first; it must match your machine.
  • Outer diameter and labels per roll to fit your equipment.
  • Gap between labels for sensors to read.

Tell us your applicator model or upload a photo of your current rolls and we will match it.

What to Print on a Product Label

Well-planned custom product labels answer a shopper’s questions in seconds. Most include:

  • Brand and product name large enough to read from a shelf.
  • Net quantity (weight, volume or count) on the front panel.
  • Ingredients, Nutrition Facts or Supplement Facts where required for your product.
  • Allergens, warnings and directions if they apply.
  • Business name and address, plus a barcode (UPC) for retail and a QR code for your story or reorders.
  • Batch number and best-by date area if you date-code your products.

Labeling rules depend on the product and where it is sold, so confirm required wording with your regulatory advisor. We make sure every line fits cleanly and prints sharply.

Artwork Tips for Sharp, Professional Labels

  • Send vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) or images at 300 DPI at print size.
  • Add about 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) of bleed beyond the cut line and keep text inside a safe zone.
  • Use CMYK color, or Pantone references for exact brand colors.
  • Keep small text at 6 point or larger and avoid very thin lines on die cut edges.
  • For white ink on clear labels, ask us to set up a white underlay so colors stay bright on glass.

Eco-Friendly Labels and Stickers

Choose recycled or kraft paper, FSC-friendly stocks where available, water-based inks and right-sized labels that use less material. Paper labels on cardboard packaging keep the whole pack easier to recycle. See eco friendly stickers and recycled paper stickers.

  • Both are pressure-sensitive. Labels usually identify a product and come on rolls or sheets, while stickers are often individually cut and used for promotion, decoration and merch.

  • White or clear BOPP is the best choice for most bottles and jars because it resists water, oil and condensation better than paper.

  • Vinyl and BOPP stickers with a protective laminate are water-resistant and suit bathrooms, coolers, water bottles and outdoor use. Uncoated paper is not waterproof.

  • Yes. We recommend BOPP with a freezer-grade adhesive, applied to a clean, dry container. Testing a sample on your container is always a good idea.

  • Die cut stickers are cut through the sticker and backing to your exact shape. Kiss cut stickers are cut through the sticker only, so they stay on a larger backing sheet.

  • Yes. Tell us your core size, unwind direction and roll diameter, and we will set up your rolls to run smoothly on your machine.

  • Yes. Removable adhesive peels off cleanly without residue and works well for price labels, promotions and laptop stickers.

  • Vector files such as AI, EPS or PDF work best, or high-resolution images at 300 DPI. Add bleed and we will check everything on your proof.

  • Production takes 4–5 business days after proof approval, and free shipping takes 5–7 business days within the USA and Canada.

  • Yes. Makers, small brands and individuals can order short runs, and growing businesses can order large volumes.
