Terms & Conditions

About these terms

How this page works for you and for us.

These Terms & Conditions explain how we handle artwork, approvals, payments, production, and any issues that might appear during or after your order. They exist to protect both sides: your brand, products, and budgets — and our team, processes, and manufacturing partners.

Simple rule: by using this website, uploading artwork, requesting a quote, or placing an order with The Packaging Masters, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms on this page.

01 · General use

Use of our website

By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws. The Packaging Masters reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any portion of these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website will be taken as acceptance of the updated terms.

All structural ideas, copywriting, dieline concepts, packaging visuals, and materials we create in the course of developing your packaging remain the intellectual property of The Packaging Masters unless explicitly assigned in a separate written agreement. We may use physical or digital samples of your packaging as non-confidential portfolio pieces in our marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing before production.

02 · Copyright

Website content & copyright

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, data, graphics, photos, icons, illustrations, page layouts, and software code (collectively, the “Website Content”) — is owned by The Packaging Masters or our content partners and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, store, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, license, or modify any part of the Website Content without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of Website Content may give rise to legal action.

03 · User content

User responsibilities & submissions

You are solely responsible for any files, artwork, images, logos, trademarks, service marks, copy, or other content you upload, email, submit, or otherwise provide to The Packaging Masters. By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You are the rightful owner of the content; or
  • You have obtained written permission or a valid license from the rightful owner to use the content for commercial printing and packaging.

You agree not to submit any material that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, harmful, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any individual or entity. The Packaging Masters reserves the right, but not the obligation, to refuse, remove, or edit any content that we believe violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

04 · Accounts

Accounts, access & security

Some features of our website may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your information updated as needed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for restricting access to your account. Any order placed or action taken using your account will be treated as authorized by you. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you agree to notify us promptly.

Automated access to our website (including bots and scraping tools), or any use that attempts to bypass security or overload systems, is strictly prohibited.

05 · Orders

Order authorization

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are legally authorized to do so on behalf of yourself or your business. You authorize The Packaging Masters to produce packaging and printed materials using the artwork, specifications, and instructions you provide.

You understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that all details — including size, material, quantity, finishing, shipping address, and deadlines — are accurate at the time of order confirmation. Any changes requested after proof approval may not be possible or may incur additional charges.

06 · Payments

Pricing, payments & cancellations

Unless otherwise stated, all prices shown on our website are in US Dollars (USD). We begin processing and production only after receiving full payment of the order value, including any applicable taxes, shipping, and handling fees, and after you have approved the final proof.

Once a job has been proof-approved and released to production, it may not be possible to modify or cancel the order. Where cancellation is possible, it may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover pre-press, setup, and administration work already performed.

Design-only services, creative consultation, and custom dieline development fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

07 · Artwork

Artwork submission & print quality

For best results, we recommend that all artwork files be supplied in:

  • Final print size with correct bleed and safe margins,
  • Minimum 300 DPI resolution,
  • CMYK color mode (not RGB), and
  • Accepted file formats such as PDF, AI, EPS, or high-resolution TIFF/PNG as advised by our team.

We are not responsible for poor print quality, blurriness, pixelation, or color shifts caused by low-resolution files, incorrect color modes, or formatting errors supplied by the client. You are fully responsible for ensuring that all copy, images, and layout are correct in the files you provide.

08 · Proofs

Proofs & color accuracy

We provide digital proofs (and in some cases, physical samples, where agreed) for your review and approval before production. You are responsible for carefully reviewing all details — including spelling, grammar, imagery, positioning, dieline layout, and finishing notes — before giving final approval.

Please note that colors can vary between screens and printing methods. We cannot guarantee an exact color match between an on-screen proof, home/office printer samples, and final production. Minor color variation is considered normal in professional printing and does not qualify as a defect.

09 · Returns

Return & reprint policy

Because all packaging we produce is custom-made to your specifications, orders are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe there is a clear manufacturing defect or your order does not match the approved proof, you must notify us within 3 business days of receiving the order.

We may request photos, videos, and/or the return of part or all of the order for inspection. If, after review, the issue is confirmed to be on our side, we may offer a reprint of the original order (or affected portion) at no additional production cost. If the issue arises from client-supplied files, incorrect information, or misuse, all reprint or replacement costs will be billed to the client.

10 · Liability

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Packaging Masters, its employees, directors, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the use of our website, services, or products — including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of reputation.

In any case, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you for that specific order.

11 · Indemnity

Indemnification

By using our website and services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Packaging Masters and its employees, directors, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of:

  • Your misuse of our website, products, or services;
  • Any claim that the content or artwork you submit infringes the rights of a third party;
  • Any breach of these Terms & Conditions by you or someone using your account.
12 · Tax

Sales tax

Applicable sales tax may be charged based on your shipping address and governing tax regulations. If you or your business qualify for tax-exempt status, you must provide a valid tax exemption certificate before or at the time of placing your order so that we can apply it correctly.

13 · Quantity

Overruns & underruns

Due to the nature of commercial printing and packaging production, small overruns or underruns are considered standard industry practice. We typically aim to ship the full ordered quantity or slightly more. In the event of a minor underrun, we will invoice only for the quantity actually shipped.

14 · Changes

Changes to our website & terms

The Packaging Masters reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website, our product range, pricing, or these Terms & Conditions at any time, with or without notice.

Any updates will be published on this page. Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.
